Volunteers from AMD and Gilbert’s Gazelles helped hydrate runners during the 10 mile Run for the Water. It was an overcast and dewy Halloween morning and water stop  Mile 6 was just after a long and nasty hill around Scenic Drive. If you have run this part of Lake Austin, you know it is no walk in the park. The runners looked fierce, and the spirited volunteers just as intense. Check out the photos and congratulations to all the runners!

The Foundation’s efforts are unifying and non tribe-specific. In Burundi the Foundation will focus on providing shoes, potable water sources, timely access to medical care, and housing for displaced residents.
